1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online shop at nostalgia-prints.com (the “Shop”). By placing an order, you accept these terms. The contract language is English.

2. Products

We sell art posters that are printed on demand: each poster is produced individually after your order by our printing partner (Gelato) at the production facility closest to your delivery address. Minor colour deviations from the on-screen display are possible for technical reasons and do not constitute a defect.

3. Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the Shop does not constitute a legally binding offer. By clicking “Buy now” and completing the payment process via Stripe Checkout, you place a binding order. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by email or ship the product, whichever occurs first.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are stated in euros (€). As a small business within the meaning of § 6 (1) 27 of the Austrian VAT Act (UStG, Kleinunternehmerregelung), we do not charge VAT; accordingly, no VAT is included or shown. Shipping costs are shown separately during checkout (€4.90 Europe / €7.90 international) and are added to the product price.

Payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout (e.g. credit and debit cards). Your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are not stored by us.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide to the countries offered at checkout. Estimated delivery times (including production) are listed on our Shipping & Delivery page — typically 3–6 business days within the EU. Delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed dates.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers in the EU have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Details, conditions, and a model withdrawal form can be found in our Cancellation Policy.

7. Warranty — Replacement First

The statutory warranty rights apply.

If a poster arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a production defect (e.g. print quality issues caused during production), please contact us at hello@nostalgia-prints.com with photos of the defect and the packaging.

In accordance with statutory warranty law, defects are remedied primarily by a free replacement print: we will produce and ship a new copy of the poster at no cost to you. You do not need to return the defective poster. A refund or price reduction is available only where a replacement is impossible, fails, or would cause you significant inconvenience — as provided by law.

Minor colour or tone deviations from the on-screen display that are within the normal range of the printing process (see Section 2) do not constitute a defect.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

All poster designs remain our intellectual property. Purchase of a poster does not transfer any reproduction or usage rights beyond private use.

10. Dispute Resolution

The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

11. Applicable Law

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected.
